_Hoof Beats is a well rounded riding school for children and adults ages Six and Older.  Students learn horse safety and riding skills from the ground up.  This means that they are taught how to handle, lead and care for their horse prior to sitting in the saddle.  This ensures their safety and also allows the horse and rider to form a healthy respectful relationship that continues in the saddle.

Students are taught to ride bareback, English and Western. This teaches them balance and proper body language with the horse.  What they feel is confidence and clear communication with the horse without having to use aids such as reigns and saddles. 

Hoofbeats stands apart from other riding schools because we focus on the whole horse relationship just as much as we do on riding our horses. Students will learn to enjoy their horses at liberty, on the line, bareback and under saddle. Our horses enjoy playing with, showing off for and partnering with all of our students.  Our unique approach to riding builds confidence as well as strong foundations for each individual rider.  Please come by and visit to learn more about our approach.
