HoofBeats Riding School adopts and fosters rescue horses. This is a beautiful program that offers horses a second chance at a full and loving life.  We have horses with special needs and some that just need a little time to understand their new role in life.  When students become a part of the Hoofbeats family they take on the role of caregiver to these amazing horses.  Each horse has individual needs as do our riders.  When students arrive for their lesson they are assigned a horse or horses for the hour they are there.  Each lesson is structured around the horses needs for that particular day.  This creates a beautiful give and take relationship between the horse and rider rather than just asking the horse to meet the riders demands. All of our horses are pictured on the website and the descriptions include their basic needs and current health status.  Please take a moment to read through their rich histories.  Together we can work together to become well rounded horseman and woman by working with  the whole horse.
